Sacred Summit: Our Mountain-View Escape in Blue Ridge, GA

Carved bear welcome sign at Sacred Summit in Blue Ridge, Georgia

Blue Ridge, Georgia

Some places feel peaceful the second you pull in. Sacred Summit in Blue Ridge, Georgia, was one of them. We spent our time cuddled up, soaking in the mountain views and taking it slow.

A cozy welcome

A carved wooden bear greets you at the top of the drive. Inside, it’s a modern mountain home with big windows, warm wood, a stone fireplace, comfy leather couches and an open kitchen with room for everyone.

Our favorite spot: the swing bed

The covered porch has a giant hanging swing bed, and that’s where you could find us. Snuggles and a view of the mountains the whole time.

Those Blue Ridge views

The deck looks right out over the treetops. There’s outdoor seating, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and the prettiest mountain mural.

Why we’d go back

  • Close to town. Downtown Blue Ridge is about five minutes away.
  • Views for days. Mountain views from the deck and the porch.
  • Room to unwind. A hot tub, a fire pit and that dreamy swing bed.
  • Local hosts. It’s run by Sacred Stays, a husband-and-wife team in Blue Ridge.

While you’re in Blue Ridge

  • Ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway from downtown along the Toccoa River.
  • Walk the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, one of the longest swinging bridges east of the Mississippi.
  • Go apple picking at Mercier Orchards in the fall.
  • Shop and eat your way through downtown Blue Ridge.
